Silent Strength: Tears Unseen

The Pen And The Woman

In the quiet shadows where sorrow hides,
The strongest ones cry when nobody’s beside.
In the sanctuary of showers, their tears blend,
With water that falls, their heartaches to mend.

Each droplet a story, each sob a release,
In moments unseen, they find their peace.
Behind closed doors, in the hush of the night,
They battle their demons, out of our sight.

With tears that cascade, like rivers unseen,
They cleanse their pain, where the world’s never been.
They gather their strength, piece by broken piece,
In silence they crumble, in silence they cease.

But when morning breaks, and daylight calls,
They rise once again, despite their falls.
A smile they don, a mask so well-worn,
Hiding the heart that’s tattered and torn.

For the strongest ones are those who cry,
Where no one can see, where no one will pry.
In the stillness, they mend, they rise from the deep,
The bravest are those who silently weep.

So next time you see a smile so bright,
Know it might hide a fierce, secret fight.
For strength is not shown in muscles or might,
But in tears that are shed, out of our sight.
